The Pearl Institute
IM Ketamine-Assisted Therapy (KAT)
IM Ketamine-Assisted Therapy (KAT) at The Pearl Institute is delivered within a
comprehensive, trauma-informed psychiatric and therapeutic care model. All patients complete thorough psychiatric and medical screening prior to treatment.

Why IM Ketamine?
Intramuscular (IM) ketamine is used within a structured therapeutic setting for individuals
experiencing depression and trauma-related conditions. IM administration allows for
consistent dosing within a contained clinical environment while creating a therapeutic
window that may support emotional processing when paired with professional guidance.
Treatment is integrated into a broader mental health care plan focused on safety, stability,
and meaningful integration.
Integrated Therapeutic Model
We strongly encourage concurrent psychotherapy during IM ketamine treatment.
Preparation sessions, therapeutic presence during administration, and post-session
integration support help patients translate insight into sustained clinical progress.
