Meet the Team: Kim Turpin
Kim Turpin has been an educator, business director of a child/family mental health agency, community fundraiser, and small business owner. She is also a certified 200 hour yoga instructor as well as a certified master Reiki practitioner. Kim has found that her passion has always been in connecting within her community in ways that further educate, heal, and help it to grow.
She received her BBA in marketing from University of Georgia in 1988 and later completed her elementary teacher training through a masters program at Mercer University, Atlanta.
Kim has been a resident of WNC for over 20 years and enjoys exploring all that it has to offer both culturally and within its natural surroundings. She is excited and honored to be involved in helping to further the mission of The Pearl Psychedelic Institute.
The Pearl Psychedelic Institute is a nonprofit that aims to bring psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy into mainstream practice through research, treatment, and training while reducing the barriers to patient access.
The Pearl Psychedelic Institute has been designated as one of 10 sites in the United States that will be allowed to provide access to this investigational treatment. The Pearl Psychedelic Institute is the only clinic affiliated with this program currently operating in the Southeastern United States; and specifically strives to serve the rural areas of Western North Carolina.
